Phil Rees has put together an extensive mashup for the dance community detailing dance related events around North America and enabling dancers and choreographers to meet and exchange information, he calls it DanceMaps. The dance events are stored in Google Base and plotted on a map in an interface that allows you to filter by location, dance style and date. Phil has also included some interesting chat, shopping and video features that make DanceMaps a fully functioning web application.
