One of our GME engineers, Lev Epshteyn, has posted a tutorial on using Picasa Web Album feeds within a Google Mashup Editor application. The tutorial takes you through finding the feed in PWA, creating geo-locations for your photos and setting map types on a Google Maps using the Google Maps API.
